The Farmers Network South Africa Join Biomation as official Collaborators on Aquagrain Sandy Soil Field Trial Project Application
In June The Farmers Network of South Africa (the FNSA) agreed to collaborate with Aquagrain on a grant bid to secure funding toward a two year commercial trial programme in South Africa. The FNSA is a registered non profit organisation accredited by non profit organisation directorate of South Africa. The FNSA is a non-racial, non-sexist organisation that champions the agricultural sector and creates opportunities for their members locally, across south Africa and abroad through education, collaboration and partnerships. The founder and President Charley Balo believes Aquagrain has great potential in Africa and the FNSA can help its introduction not just in South Africa, but in a number of other African countries where the FNSA have strong links.
A number of trial farm sites were evaluated with soil tests completed by Khumo Mosathupa an experienced farm manager from the North West Region, appointed by the FNSA to manage the trial programme inn South Africa. A suitable site has been identified at Boshoek near Rustenburg. The trial programme is planned to start in the first quarter of 2020.”, if funding bids are successful.
